“We’re comfortable with it.”
That's what STAN MILLS has to say to the people of Rehoboth Beach after directly violating the town charter to approve a staggering $1 million compensation package for the new city manager.

The package, which includes a whopping $250,000 base salary and a $750,000 forgivable loan, far exceeds the average salaries of city managers in nearby Wilmington, Philadelphia, and Baltimore.

This blatant disregard for the town's charter and fiscal responsibility is just the latest display of his arrogance and pattern of self-serving leadership.
A PATTERN OF ARROGANCE
STAN MILLS has repeatedly demonstrated his willingness to abuse power for personal gain.

As city commissioner, he violated the Delaware Public Integrity Commission's Code of Ethics by initiating a discriminatory 'patio patrol' targeting LGBT-owned and operated restaurants, which led to the wrongful arrest of Aqua Grill owner Bill Shields.

His refusal to recuse himself from matters arising from his own conduct, even after being urged by fellow commissioners, underscores a long-standing pattern of arrogance and disregard for ethical governance.
